Round steel has lower strength, while other reinforcement bars have higher strength. That is, for the same diameter, round steel can withstand less tensile force compared to other reinforcement bars. However, round steel has greater plasticity than other reinforcement bars, meaning round steel undergoes significant deformation before breaking, while other reinforcement bars undergo much less deformation before breaking.
